Online Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Certificate
The Regis College ABA program also offers a certificate option for students who already have a graduate degree and want to specialize in applied behavior analysis. The certificate program provides a flexible option to complete coursework to fulfill course requirements to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®) certification exam (5th edition standards).
The ABA certificate program can be completed across 3 semesters and students may elect to take the two practicum courses in conjunction with 1,500-2,000 hours of supervised independent fieldwork (hours required for BCBA licensure). It includes specialized training in the practice of applied behavior analysis. The curriculum was designed to teach students the techniques and treatment approaches needed to analyze and improve behavior barriers. ABA treatment and intervention plans will ultimately help to improve the lives of individuals and their families.
Our online Applied Behavior Analysis program is designed to be interactive, flexible, and thorough covering topics such as concepts and principles of ABA, treatment evaluations, behavior assessments, and more. We combine research and hands-on experience to educate students starting out or seeking advancement in the field.

Behavior Analysts are in demand
Demand for BCBA/BCBA-D® certified professionals increased by approximately 800% from 2010 to 2017, with increases seen in nearly every state.* Most recently, the federal government signed the Autism Care Act in 2019**, which includes $1.8 billion in funding. The influx of new attention and funding will likely increase research efforts and support through ABA treatment and services.
Regis Autism Center
The Regis College campus is home to the Autism Center that works in collaboration with the Regis Children’s Center. The Regis Autism Center provides Applied Behavior Analysis services for young children focused on integration with their peers in the Children’s Center. All behavior therapists working at the Autism Center are current graduate students in the Master’s of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis program.
