Michelle Gibson, PMHNP, CARN-AP 

Assistant Professor

Michelle Gibson is a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. Michelle received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Ursuline College in 2011, and her Master of Science in Nursing in 2016 from The Ohio State University.

Prior to nursing, Michelle served in the United States Army Reserve for six years and deployed to Iraq in 2004 where she hauled fuel as a heavy vehicle operator. Michelle has dedicated her career to serving Veterans struggling with substance use disorders.

Following her graduate training, Michelle completed the 2016-2017 PMHNP Residency program through the Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System. Michelle holds national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Addictions Nursing Certification Board.
