Lesly Harris, ARNP, FNP-C, was born in Honduras, Central America, where she completed her studies as a medical doctor (MD) with an orientation in family practice and prenatal care. Her training in Honduras included more than 10 years of classwork and clinical preparation.

Here in the United States, Lesly Harris made the transition to a career in nursing and completed an associate degree in nursing from Rivier University in 2010. During her nursing career, Lesly gained experience as a staff nurse in an oncology surgical unit and within a public health clinic.

In 2017, Lesly completed her MSN as a family nurse practitioner (FNP) at Rivier University. She made the transition into a primary care clinician role at Greater Lawrence Family Health Center that served an underserved community of nearly 70,000 patients. In this role, Lesly managed a panel of more than 1,000 patients. Lesly’s panel included a broad range of patients of all ages and comorbidities, including prenatal care.

In September of 2021, Lesly joined Regis College as an assistant professor preceptor within the nurse practitioner residency program. Lesly currently teaches Advanced Health Assessment and clinical seminar courses through the nurse practitioner online program. Lesly continues her clinical practice through Greater Lawrence Family Health Center.
