Online Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis Curriculum

The ABA master’s online curriculum at Regis College has been designed for health science professionals with a focus on applied coursework, practical experience, and post-graduation certification.

Traditional (Online Master of Applied Behavior Analysis)

39 credit hours that can be completed in as few as 20 months. Upon completion of all degree requirements, you may qualify to sit for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification exam.

Non-degree (Certificate), Certification-Seeking Applicants

For professionals who have already earned their master’s in ABA, psychology, or education.1 This certificate requires completion of six courses2 and an optional clinical experience.

  • Clinical Experience Option 1: 1,500 hours of supervised independent fieldwork on your own
  • Clinical Experience Option 2: 750 hours of intensive practicum with on-site and Regis faculty supervision3

Non-degree (Certificate), Non-BACB Certification Seeking Applicants

Designed for family members, teachers, caretakers or anyone interested in studying behavior and behavior support techniques. This certificate requires the completion of six courses2 and does not lead to BACB certification or licensure.

Coursework covers a variety of key behavioral science issues, and the included clinical experience allows students to apply classroom learning in a professional setting where they can develop skill sets, learn from professionals working in the field, and build their professional network.

1Applicants with any master’s degree that falls outside a master’s in ABA, psychology, or education, (even minor deviations like MS in Counseling Psychology or MA in Educational Leadership) must provide written confirmation from the BACB that their degree will be considered acceptable. Applicants will need to complete a field of study evaluation by the BACB prior to applying to or matriculating in the certificate program.
