Online Master of Public Health

Today’s public health professionals play an integral role in monitoring health trends and advancing policy. This means observing changes to community health and safety, measuring the impact of disease and illness, working to improve access to health care resources, and addressing inequities in care delivery. Regis can prepare you to meet these emerging challenges on a local, state, or national level.

Public health degree concentrations

The MPH online offers two concentrations to focus your public health curriculum:

Epidemiology

Epidemiology is focused on investigation and exploration, offering you the opportunity to create public health studies for specific diseases, analyze key data points, and report on your findings. It can include the study of infectious or chronic diseases and other public health issues such as disabilities and social and environmental concerns. Epidemiologists have a passion for disease investigation, collecting data, and analyzing statistics.

It includes analysis of health care ethics and economics, as well as the development and implementation of policies and programs in light of current and emerging needs. People in health policy and management are concerned with affecting change through health care policy, how health policy is interpreted, and how it relates to health services in their community.

I have recognized certain patterns in environment, location, race, ethnicity, and other determinants at work…”  Read more.
