Prepare to play a critical role in the future of women’s health.

Content

Deliver comprehensive health care to women throughout their lifespan in areas pertaining to women’s health care needs, including obstetrics, gynecology, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, infertility, and maternal/fetal medicine. Like all nurse practitioners, WHNPs are in high demand due to an influx of newly insured patients, our rapidly aging population, and higher standards in primary care. Women’s health nurse practitioners are also needed worldwide to help prevent illnesses that affect women at a higher rate, such as breast cancer and the Zika virus. Yet today, only 2.9% of all NPs specialize in women’s health.*

The average salary for women’s health nurse practitioners in the U.S. is $93,463**

Currently, nurse practitioners are in short supply and high demand. Join our online Master of Science in Nursing program to help fill this growing void.
