Tajuane Dockery, DNP, RN, NI-BC, CNE

Dr. Dockery has more than 30 years of healthcare experience, with significant practice and training in health informatics, quality improvement and population health outcomes. Her clinical experience spans across various practice settings to include physician practice networks, inpatient hospital, long-term care, student health, and home health. She also has experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds both in clinical and higher education settings.
Dr. Dockery is passionate about empowering nursing students through education and mentorship. Her clinical practice interests include addressing the social determinants that lead to the health disparities impacting vulnerable and underserved populations and finding solutions to close these gaps in care. She believes some ways that this can be achieved is by utilizing nursing informatics solutions to steer population health management efforts, implementing evidence-based practices to improve health outcomes and preparing nursing students to provide holistic, equitable patient care.
