Samara Robertson, MSN, APRN-BC, CNM
Assistant Professor, Nursing
Samara Robertson has been an Assistant Professor at Regis College since 2017 and was the previous Regis Online Women’s Health Program Director. Samara is a Certified Nurse Midwife in the state of NH and has been working in online nursing academia since 2011.
Professor Robertson launched her own private practice as a certified nurse midwife and nurse practitioner that focuses on the mental health needs of women – particularly in the postpartum period. Her practice, The Postpartum Midwife also helps those experiencing struggles with infertility, adoption and miscarriages.
She has taught extensively in Community Health, Health assessment and Women’s Health and has a passion for integrating psych mental health at the primary care level. Samara is a member of the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner Association and is currently pursuing her DNP at Frontier Nursing University and expects to graduate winter of 2020.
