John Christie has undertaken multiple roles in higher education since 2009, with experiences as an instructor, visiting scholar, assistant and associate professor, program director, and department chair. He has been working full time at Regis College since 2014.

In addition to working at Regis, he has been an Instructor at the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, was a visiting scholar at the University of New Hampshire School of Law in Concord, New Hampshire, and has served as an affiliate faculty in the School of Business at Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire.

His practical experience in business comes from many years in the real estate industry, where he was the managing trustee of a REIT based in Manchester, New Hampshire. There he served in a range of functional areas, including sales and marketing, contracts and legal issues, and investment property management.

He serves on the review boards of the academic journals Digital Business, Global Business Review, and Business Perspectives & Research and is a member of the Association for Information Systems.
