Dr. Victoria Vatcher, DNP, RN

Dr. Victoria Vatcher has been a nurse for 12 years after obtaining her ADN from Middlesex Community College in 2011, her BSN from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 2013, and her DNP from Capella University in 2018.
Over the past decade-plus, Dr. Vatcher has had varied experiences in nursing, including med/surg, telemetry, critical care, pediatrics, postpartum/special care nursery, school nursing, home care, IV therapy, anesthetics, and case management/utilization review. Her varied background has allowed her to experience the many avenues of nursing and to find her passion for teaching and mentoring other nurses.
Dr. Vatcher joined Regis College in the Fall of 2021 as adjunct faculty in the RN-BSN program and the online DNP program. She made the transition to a full-time assistant professor position at Regis College in the Fall of 2023 in the online DNP program. She has a true passion for teaching, and she presented “The Impact of the DNP in the Nurse Educator Role” at the 3rd Annual Texas DNP Conference in August of 2023.
Dr. Vatcher continues to practice as an RN and holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP. Dr. Vatcher is also a subject matter expert in community nursing.
